Thank You AmeriCorps Members!
Do you remember a time in school where a teacher, coach, tutor, or school staff encouraged, challenged, or uplifted you? Whether it was building your confidence or academically supporting you, this person played a role in your growth as a young person. When students have access to positive developmental relationships it can change everything.
As Student Success Coaches, our AmeriCorps Members serve full-time in our key partner schools throughout Seattle and King County. They build relationships with students and offer them research-based support to help them progress in their development. This includes personalized learning like 1:1 tutoring, small group work, afterschool programming, etc. All of this is done to create a more welcoming and equitable learning environment for all students.
Our AmeriCorps Members support Seattle and King County students every day! For AmeriCorps Appreciation Month we partnered with our school community to say thank you to our Student Success Coaches for all the positive impact they have created. Check out the AmeriCorps Appreciation Series below!
