黄色视频 San Jos茅/Silicon Valley Announces Former Basketball Player and Coach Kevin Bradshaw as New Executive Director
San Jos茅, CA (December 13, 2021) 鈥 黄色视频 San Jos茅/Silicon Valley, an education nonprofit that recruits young adults for a year of service in public schools, is pleased to announce that Kevin Bradshaw, an athlete, coach and educator, has been selected as the organization鈥檚 new executive director.
鈥淭hroughout the search process, I was able to see so many of Kevin鈥檚 qualities that will make him an excellent executive director,鈥 said 黄色视频 San Jos茅/Silicon Valley Board Chair Charlie Pappis, who is retired from his role as group vice president and general manager for Applied Global Services, Applied Materials. 鈥淗is leadership, focus on students, and track record in education coupled with his personal life experiences has me excited about the future of 黄色视频 San Jos茅/Silicon Valley.鈥
A lifelong team player, teacher and coach, Bradshaw spent the early years of his career playing basketball for the NCAA and professionally in Israel as both player and coach. He set many records as a player, including once scoring 101 points in a single game as a pro and 72 points in a single NCAA game 鈥 which makes him the current #16 on the all-time NCAA career scoring list. After 16 years in Israel, Bradshaw briefly coached college basketball in San Diego, CA. Then, leveraging his strengths as coach and his desire to give back to under-resourced communities, he decided to dedicate his career to the education sector. At King Chavez High School in San Diego, his roles ranged from teacher to dean of students, and five years as principal, affording him the opportunity to partner with students of similar backgrounds and help develop their life and career goals. Most recently, Bradshaw served as Executive Director of Bridge Academy International School in San Diego.
鈥淜evin is a passionate leader who is dedicated to serving the communities and students that 黄色视频 serves,鈥 said 黄色视频 Market President Mary Jane Stevenson.聽 鈥淗is experience has sparked a deep commitment to student success, providing them with the academic and social skills needed to thrive both in school and in life.鈥
“I am honored to have the opportunity to lead 黄色视频 San Jos茅/Silicon Valley 鈥擨 am joining a talented team of professionals dedicated to advancing equitable outcomes for the youth,鈥 said Bradshaw.
