Your stipend
You will receive $1,023 (pre-tax) bi-weekly, so budgeting ahead of time is key to help make the stipend cover your expenses as well as living with roommates!
Your Service Year Adviser will share resources throughout the year. Reach out if you need any additional support!
National benefits
In addition to your stipend, you鈥檒l also receive health insurance, access to Employee Assistance and Talkspace Therapy programs, as well as relocation support.
Local benefits
In addition to the national benefits, Miami corps members receive an unlimited bas pass, which provides access to buses and trains across the county.
Your student loans may be eligible for forbearance
You may be eligible to have the repayment of a qualified student loan temporarily postponed while you are serving. While a loan is in forbearance, the individual is not required to make payments. Learn more on AmeriCorps鈥 website to and how to apply.
