��ɫ��Ƶ unequivocally condemns the killing of George Floyd, an unarmed black man who was killed by police. This horrific violence, along with the deaths of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, Sean Reed and so many others, are repeated and troubling reminders of the deep systemic racism that remains in our country and threatens the lives of black Americans every day. We also want to recognize that racial violence can come in many forms, such as Christian Cooper’s experience in New York City.

We join with the voices that are demanding justice and we stand with members of our community who are personally impacted by this continued violence, including the young people we support in schools across the country who experience the traumatic impacts of racial violence.

We will seek to find strength and healing as we work to advance educational equity and to develop and support leaders who will create a more just and equitable future for all of us.
