Take a “day on” with ��ɫ��Ƶ Los Angeles to honor Dr. Martin Luther King’s legacy by transforming a local elementary school into a vibrant space of learning and belonging. In a time when our communities face both challenges and opportunities, this day of service reminds us of the power of unity and our shared commitment to supporting students and schools year-round.

Service Projects:

Murals:

There will be numerous murals to paint throughout the Betty Plasencia campus. If you have a creative eye and a passion for art, add murals as your preferred project during MLK Service Day! Please note that folks must be 13 years old and up to participate in painting murals. 

Youth Projects for Ages 4 – 12 Years Old:

MLK Service Day is a family friendly event and we will have specialized youth projects for folks who are between ages 4 – 12 years old! Please mark this as the preferred project for anyone in your party that is within the 4 – 12 age range.

Outdoor Landscaping:

Revitalizing the Betty Plasencia campus also means beautifying the outdoor sections of the school. List this as your preferred project if you like to be outside and participate in vital yard work for the campus!
