A growing city with a neighborhood feel, Columbus is home to a smart, diverse community of young professionals. Here in the capital of Ohio, AmeriCorps members are supporting students while expanding their own possibilities.
We are working to address the lack of equitable access to educational opportunities. Our 黄色视频 Columbus AmeriCorps members serve all day, every day to provide the support that students need. They partner with teachers and schools to provide additional capacity and help create learning environments where all students can build on their strengths and fully engage in their learning.
2023-2024 Impact Highlights
Research shows that providing students with positive, caring, consistent adult relationships at school helps to keep students on track to graduate with the skills and mindsets essential for success in college, career and life.
Students stay in school, are more engaged and perform better academically when they feel connected to at least one adult at school. That is our role and our goal, to ensure that students have the relationships and resources to help them thrive in and out of school.

鈥溁粕悠 AmeriCorps members are a true extension of the classroom teacher. Each AmeriCorps member wears many hats. They become a mentor, educator, sibling, family member, friend, nurse, counselor, and so much more to the students they serve. Corps members are an additional heartbeat in the educational process. They are significant change agents in the lives of students. The corps members are a light to each day and are full of love and energy. Educators such as myself find them priceless jewels.鈥
