Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis offers ��ɫ��Ƶ AmeriCorps members, alums and staff

$20,000-$50,000 Scholarships

The Brown School reserves two $50,000 Dean’s Scholarships to be awarded to two ��ɫ��Ƶ applicants in each incoming cohort. All ��ɫ��Ƶ applicants who are admitted to the Brown School’s MSW, MSP, or MPH programs will receive a minimum $20,000 annual award.

All ��ɫ��Ƶ applicants are also eligible to be considered for other scholarships from the Brown School.

Scholarships are awarded to ��ɫ��Ƶ AmeriCorps members and alums who complete at least one term of service and ��ɫ��Ƶ staff employed for at least two years.

• Enrollment deferral: The Brown School will allow deferrals for up to one year if accepted applicants decide to serve additional time with ��ɫ��Ƶ.

For students applying to the Master of Social Work program:

Within the application to the MSW program, you will be asked to complete the Brown School Scholarship Consideration Form. Please upload the completed form to your application to ensure you are considered for scholarship.

Once you have identified your ��ɫ��Ƶ affiliation in the application, your application fee will be automatically waived upon submission.

For students applying to the Master of Public Health program:

Within the application to the MPH program, you will be asked to complete the Brown School Scholarship Consideration Form. Please upload the completed form to your application to ensure you are considered for scholarship.

Applications to the Brown School’s MPH program are received through SOPHAS (Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health). The Brown School is not able to directly provide application fee waivers within the SOPHAS system; however, ��ɫ��Ƶ members may visit the to learn about the waiver request process.

For students applying to the Master of Social Policy (MSP) program:

Within the application to the MSP program, you will be asked to complete the Brown School Scholarship Consideration Form. Please upload the completed form to your application to ensure you are considered for scholarship.
