50% scholarships
Awardees will receive a that reduces tuition and fees by 50%. At UMKC鈥檚 current base tuition rate, this will provide an award of $4,476.00 for students enrolled in 12 credit hours.
The 黄色视频 Scholarship is available for up to fifteen qualified 黄色视频 AmeriCorps members towards full-time study in an .
Scholarships are renewable for the duration of the program for either transfer or first-time freshman students. Students must meet scholarship renewal criteria, including maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or better and continued full-time enrollment.
Scholarships are awarded to 黄色视频 AmeriCorps members and alums who complete at least one term of service and 黄色视频 staff employed for at least two years.
Benefits begin Fall 2024.
Additional benefits
- There is no application fee for prospective students who submit the online application.
- Enrollment deferral: A one-year deferral is available for accepted students who decide to serve additional time with 黄色视频 before starting their studies.

To apply for the scholarship
To be considered for the scholarship, a service verification letter must be requested by emailing alumni@cityyear.org with “University of Missouri Kansas City: 黄色视频 verification letter request鈥 in the subject line. Within the email, include the site where you served and your AmeriCorps graduation month and year. This letter will be sent electronically by 黄色视频 to you, which you will then upload to your once admitted.
