seeks to promote world peace and friendship through three goals: helping the people of interested countries in meeting their need for trained men and women; promoting a better understanding of Americans on the part of the peoples served and promoting a better understanding of other peoples on the part of Americans. Historically, nearly 200,000 Americans have served with the Peace Corps to promote a better understanding between Americans and the people of 139 host countries.
Working at a local level to address complex and challenging educational needs, Peace Corps Volunteers introduce innovative teaching methodologies, encourage critical thinking in the classroom and integrate content like health education, environmental awareness and teaching English into their curricula. Many also work in curriculum or materials development; train local teachers in K-12 schools, teacher training colleges and universities; and work in a wide variety of outreach projects with children and youth in systemically under-resourced communities. Serving with 黄色视频 strengthens an applicant鈥檚 competitiveness and chances for being selected for Peace Corps service in education and youth development.
