As a College Success, Program Manager, you will work with your supervisor to create an individualized professional development plan that includes both short-term and long-term goals; you will pursue these goals through classes, webinars, networking events, reading material, mentoring, workshops and more.

College Success, Program Managers will also receive the following benefits:

Through these long-term relationships, first-generation students of color from underserved communities increase their access to the knowledge, experiences and resources required to succeed in college or their postsecondary pathway of choice and to pursue their career ambitions.

By partnering with public schools serving primarily first-generation college students and providing every student in the school with a mentor, iMentor supports students鈥 postsecondary journeys with a level of depth and personalization that cannot be matched by traditional advising models. iMentor鈥檚 students are 37% more likely to enroll in college and graduate college at double the rates of their peers. Since its inception, iMentor has created and supported 38,000 mentoring relationships. iMentor partners with public schools in , , and to ensure every student receives a mentor.

College Success, Program Managers facilitate high-impact relationships between 80-100 mentee/mentor pairs by leveraging iMentor鈥檚 programmatic model to deepen pair relationships and help mentors guide mentees toward the goal of developing a robust postsecondary plan by high school graduation and supporting a successful transition into a postsecondary pathway. Program Managers work with mentors to position them as a 鈥済o-to鈥 resource for their mentee and provide individual coaching to ensure pair growth. Program Managers facilitate weekly classroom sessions for mentees, lead monthly pair events and provide individualized support for pairs. They help develop a strong partnership at their school site and contribute to iMentor鈥檚 impact in the postsecondary success landscape.

The ideal candidate will have two or more years of professional experience working with high-school aged youth, understanding or interest in the postsecondary landscape and interest in or experience working with adult volunteers. They will believe deeply in mentoring as a tool for youth success and be confident that, with the right support, a caring, committed adult can build a relationship with a student and support their postsecondary journey. The candidate most closely aligned with iMentor’s vision believes that every student deserves a champion and a chance to have a fulfilling postsecondary experience that leads to a financially stable career. The 黄色视频 experience is a strong indicator of future success at iMentor, and serving two years with 黄色视频 strengthens an applicant鈥檚 chances for being selected as a College Success, Program Manager.

Applications for positions in New York City, Chicago, Bay Area and Baltimore are typically open from February to July. Hiring is done on a rolling basis during the recruitment window. The position start date for applicants will be determined by geographic location.
