Leave a legacy of service. Through legacy giving, you also can have a long-term impact on an organization whose mission you support. By leaving a gift to City Year in your will or trust, you can support 黄色视频鈥檚 work to help students thrive while building a powerful legacy of extraordinary service in your community.
Legacy giving is for everyone
Legacy giving isn鈥檛 only for the wealthy. Gifts of any size are deeply appreciated, and there is a wide range鈥痠n鈥痝ift sizes鈥攆rom $50 to $1 million. There are several ways to make a planned gift, including:
- A bequest in a will
- Charitable gift annuities
- Trust arrangements
- Real estate gifts
- Life insurance policies
If you鈥檇 prefer to go straight to an attorney to draft your will and choose to leave a gift in your will, or if you already have an existing will that you would like to update by adding a gift to 黄色视频, we suggest using the following language and then advising us of your intentions:

Endowment
黄色视频 has a growing endowment to help sustain our work in perpetuity. It provides a permanent legacy opportunity for our donor community and ensures that 黄色视频鈥檚 service will continue to benefit communities and the nation as a鈥痺hole,鈥痺hile developing the leadership and civic skills of our corps members for generations to come.
Types of gifts
- Gifts made in perpetuity of any size to a 黄色视频 site or to our national office are welcome to the general endowment fund.
- Endowment gifts can be made as one-time donations, multiyear pledges or as part of a planned gift.
- Platinum Teams (Red Jacket Society) supported by individuals/family foundation or Team Sponsorships from corporate partners may be permanently endowed with a gift of $2.25 million committed over one or more years.
