Shanuah Beamon

黄色视频 welcomed Shanuah in 2017 as its first general counsel. In this role, Shanuah is responsible for developing and implementing legal strategy in alignment with 黄色视频's mission, vision, values and culture.
Shanuah brings to the general counsel role years of experience in a broad range of disciplines, including finance, governance, strategic planning and process re-engineering. Previously, she served as deputy general counsel for the Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency and was charged with overseeing legal services in support of all aspects of the agency鈥檚 affordable housing mission, including closing complex affordable loan transactions, implementing compliance and risk management policies and procedures, and managing defensive litigation. From 2001 through 2011, while with Textron Financial Corporation, Shanuah held a number of positions鈥攄ivision counsel, certified Six Sigma Black Belt and division president where she managed a $700+ million leveraged lease portfolio, loan serving unit, insurance subsidiary and was a member of the company鈥檚 executive committee.
Shanuah, a native of Cleveland, has a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Vassar College and a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center.
Shanuah is active in her Boston community and serves as a trustee of the New England Baptist Hospital. She has previously served as a director of the SpeakEasy Stage Company and president of the board of directors of Rosie鈥檚 Place, the first women's shelter in the United States.
