Our AmeriCorps members have access to Silicon Valley's various industry hubs as it is the vibrant epicenter for academia, business, tech and medicine.
Professional development
85% of alumni agree that their service year helped prepare them for their career path. AmeriCorps members will receive opportunities to develop hard and soft skills necessary for their careers after 黄色视频. We have a dedicated Learning and Development staff member who develops workshops that include graduate school prep, resume writing, mock interviewing, networking and personal brand and teacher pathway programs. We are also grateful for the support of our partner companies, nonprofits, and schools who help us bring this programming to our AmeriCorps members. 黄色视频 collaborates with organizations like OperationHOPE, Bank of America, LinkedIn, and Deloitte to support the financial literacy, career development, and networking skills of its AmeriCorps members. OperationHOPE and Bank of America provide financial literacy training, while LinkedIn offers coaching and Premium access at its Sunnyvale headquarters. Deloitte supports career growth with annual Career Development Days and hosts 黄色视频鈥檚 signature 18-Minute Networking Event, allowing members to build connections with industry professionals.
I was able to secure my current job as a Solutions Analyst through the 黄色视频 to Deloitte pipeline. The time I spent at 黄色视频 was instrumental in my ability to succeed at Deloitte.

Your corps experience
City Year is partnered with Alum Rock Union School District in San Jos茅 and Ravenswood School District in East Palo Alto in creating equitable learning opportunities for all students and develop the city鈥檚 future leaders. AmeriCorps members support teachers and staff in delivering instruction that serves the development of the whole child.
Working on a team

We not only love to work with a committed and diverse group of 6-10 fellow AmeriCorps members, who share our passion for service and personal growth, but also love the strong friendships that persist beyond our year of service.
Community involvement
